1The service
Piano Class is the app and website provided by Huy Ly. It helps piano teachers manage students, write note-reading and theory questions, assign tests and follow progress; students play and see their results. It is a teaching aid, not a training programme or a certification.
2Accounts
- Teachers must be 18 or older, sign in with their own Google or Apple account, and are responsible for the classes they create.
- Students join through a class code. A student account is created by a parent or a teacher. The teacher confirms that a parent has consented before approving a child into a class.
- Keep your class code, PIN and session to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility, unless it is caused by a fault of the system.
- Each student belongs to one teacher. Moving to another teacher means a new account in the new class.
3Content
- Questions, tests and pictures written by a teacher belong to that teacher. We store and show them only to run the service.
- Do not upload content you have no right to use, content unsuitable for children, or content that breaks the law. We may remove such content and tell you.
- A student's results are shown only to the teacher of the class and to the student.
4Price
- Piano Class is free. A teacher account has every feature, and a student account costs nothing.
- Nothing is sold, in the app, on the website or anywhere else, and we take no payment.
5Acceptable use
- Do not try to reach the data of another teacher or student.
- Do not generate automated traffic beyond the published limits, and do not try to crack a PIN.
- Do not sell or rent out an account.
- Do not use the service for anything other than teaching and learning.
6Availability
We work to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance is announced on the website when possible. Data is backed up nightly. The app needs a network connection to receive exercises and send results.
7Ending
- You can delete your account at any time in the app; see how to delete an account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice and time to remedy where the law requires it.
- If we stop the service, we give at least 60 days' notice and time to take your data.
8Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, data lost because of your device, or content created by other users.
9Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. In a dispute, both sides talk first; failing that, the competent court in Vietnam decides.
10Changes and contact
We may change these terms; a significant change is announced in the app to teachers at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the service after that date is agreeing to the new terms. Questions go to hotro@pianoclass.app.
